Winter Tripping

The last couple of weeks have been so busy! I was in Hamilton three times in one week and then Bryton’s cousins and their families came from the US for a holiday. Bryton took the week off work so we could travel around with themΒ so we met them in Rotorua and had such a fun time! I wish we had longer to holiday with them and I also wish it was warmer because the cold was just nasty.

We had dinner at Stratosfare, a restaurant at the Skyline Gondola in Rotorua. The next day we went to a sheep show at the Agrodome which was so much better than I expected it to be! Aston got to see farm animals for the first time and she got to feed some lambs. It was the cutest thing! Although she was not too fond of the sheep wool and I don’t blame her because that stuff smelt FOUL. But she did enjoy lying all over the sheepskin that were for sale. We also went to the Buried Village and I really felt the wairua there, it was very special. We drove down to Lake Tarawera to get some photos and it was incredible. New Zealand really is a very beautiful country. We are so lucky we get to live here!

    1. Hi Sister Champlin! Sorry for the late reply, I’m just getting around to it now. I am keen for another workshop and have found a few new LDS bloggers who are interested! So I can’t wait to meet again.
